Prayer Bead Ministry

The "Women of Saint Lukes's" are now making "Prayer Beads" for our military personnel overseas.

We have received enough beads to make about 200 sets of prayer beads.  When these are completed, they will be mailed back to Washington.  Shipping them back will cost about $50, and we would also like to include a check to help offset the cost of the kits.

We are asking for small domnations to help with this project.  This would be a way to become part of this ministry.  Our young men and women are giving so much for us, it is the least we can do for them.

Church Use

If you are planning an event that requires the use of the church, it is very important to inform the office to avoid duplicate uses of the church or parish hall, and to prepare our Altar Guild and our sexton.

We are asking for notification 30 days prior to the event.  Please inform the parish off of your plans.

Ink Recycling

Linda Holler and Janice Steil ask you to prayerfully consider donating your empty ink cartridges to Saint Luke's.  We can turn your empties into cash for our office supplies.  Most do not realize the expenses involved in keeping the office supplied with paper, ink and other consumable products.  So please, drop off those used cartridges at the church office or kitchen.  You will be helping the church and also the environment.
