Norman 235 W. Duffy, at the corner of Asp and Duffy Norman OK 405 321-3020 Email: [email protected] Priest Name: The Rev. Dwight N. Helt When We Meet: Sundays at 7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 5 p.m. What Sets Us Apart: We believe our greatest hope for transformation comes in our common life together and through common practices that shape and form us for God’s work in the world. As one body, in unity, we teach, learn, nurture and support one another. And we acknowledge that God often acts in ways that are hidden or beyond our comprehension. The sacraments are one way we affirm God’s grace at work among us. We also acknowledge and celebrate the myriad ways God uses the ordinary as instruments of grace. Opportunities to Connect: Office staff volunteers, youth group, "Fledglings" children's group, Journey to Adulthood, Education for Ministry, weekly forums on theology and scripture, Episcopal Church Women, St. John's Brotherhood, Daughters of the King, Seedlings small groups and parish programs. Altar guild, choir, vergers, worship, hospitality, stewardhip, pastoral care, and outreach committees. |

When We Meet: Holy Eucharist 8, 9 11 a.m., Thursday 12:10 p.m. Holy Eucharist; Taize 5 p.m. first Sunday of the month
What Sets Us Apart: St. Paul’s Cathedral is a mid-sized parish serving as the Diocesan cathedral in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. St. Paul’s Cathedral is traditional and non-traditional at the same time, steeped in the tradition of the Episcopal liturgy, and open minded to explore thoughtful conversations and questioning, experiencing the love and mystery of God in communion, music, space and in one another. St. Paul’s Cathedral has stood strong for over 100 years and after having experienced a terrible tragedy only blocks from the church, St. Paul’s, along with the city, has matured in wisdom with a revitalization structurally and emotionally, and the community of St. Paulians having grown closer, sharing a common spirit of rebuilding with the realization that we are profoundly alive as the Body of Christ.
Opportunities to Connect: Children and Youth ministry, St. Nicholas Guild, Choir, Music Society, Guild of St. George, Mobile Meals, St. Oakerhater Guild, Usher Guild, Episcopal Church Woman, Fellowship Commission, Kitchen Guild, St. Catherine’s Study and Prayer Group, Garden Guild, Altar Guild, Brotherhood of St. Andrew, St. Genesius Guild, Foyer Groups, Cathedral Books and Gifts, Acolytes, Lay Readers and Lectors, Whole Creation Community. |
