Saint Simeon’s mission is to be the preferred home for those who wish to live their later years in an environment with the highest attainable level of independence, dignity and individuality. This mission has stood the test of time. Dr. Edward Eckel, then Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Tulsa, and the Episcopal Church Women of Oklahoma founded Saint Simeon’s Episcopal Home in 1960 as a not-for-profit, charitable organization. Their vision, to create a retirement community where men and women of all faiths could live independently and with dignity, continues to be fulfilled.
