Lambeth Conference 2008
Pour down upon us, O God, the gifts of your Holy Spirit, that those who prepare for the Lambeth Conference may be filled with wisdom and understanding. May they know at work within them that creative energy and vision which belong to our humanity, made in your image and redeemed by your love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
In order to provide the diocese an opportunity to hear directly from Bishop Ed about Lambeth, six regional briefings have been scheduled throughout the Diocese of Oklahoma. These regional briefings will begin on September 2, in Duncan and end on September 12, in Tulsa. Below is the complete list including dates, locations and times.
September 2 - Duncan, All Saints Church - 6:30 p.m.
September 3 - Ardmore, St. Philip's Church - 6:30 p.m.
September 4- Oklahoma City, St. Paul's Cathedral - 6:30 p.m.
September 8- Enid, St. Matthew's Church - 6:00 p.m.
September 12 - Tulsa, St. John's Church - 7:00 p.m.
*September 21- Grove, St. Andrew's Church - 6:00 p.m.
